MobyVan Electrics Box Installation Solution incl. Electrical Components

The electrics box for VW T5-T6.1 is another in-house development from Moby Van.

The idea – to create a place for the entire electrical distribution that is safe, centralized, expandable, and applicable.

Once installed, the electrics box and its components offer the following possibilities and features:

• Complete electrical distribution in one place
• Easy & quick access
• Shore power connection (rectangular black CEE socket)
• 230 V distribution incl. RCD for 2 fuse circuits
• 230 V Schuko socket (e.g., for induction hob)
• Charger for auxiliary/leisure battery (Victron)
• 12 V positive & negative distributor

The electrics box is located in the lower left side panel of the T5, T6, and T6.1, with adapted cable lengths for both short and long wheelbases.
Especially nice in combination with our mid-left high side panel with curtain preparation. (See image no. 2)

Plug and Play! What does that mean? – The lower mounting points are already pre-defined by the base vehicle and its body = PLUG. The upper 3 mounting points are simply transferred from the electrics box to the body and optionally riveted or screwed = PLAY.
(All necessary screws & rivets are included in the scope of delivery)

Furthermore, all system components are already wired, connected, and tested. Only the CEE socket and connection links that need to be connected during installation are supplied separately. Typically, the electrics box is covered by a cabinet element or the bed construction and is therefore not directly visible, but always accessible.
