Frequently Asked Questions
The rear window in a car, station wagon, van, or camper describes the rear pane of the vehicle, which is an integral part of the body. It is usually made of tempered safety glass (TSG) and provides the driver with a view to the rear.
The windshield is located at the front of the vehicle and allows the driver a clear view of the road traffic. At the same time, it is an important safety element, as it protects against wind and flying objects and is therefore usually made of robust laminated safety glass (LSG). The rear window is at the back of the vehicle and allows a rearward view. It is often made of tempered safety glass (TSG).
There is no single answer to this, as the price depends on the type of vehicle and the rear window. If you carry out the replacement yourself, you only pay the cost of the new rear window and the materials required. If the installation is carried out in a workshop, additional costs will be incurred. We would be happy to take over the replacement or installation of your rear window in your camper if you wish. Contact us with your ideas and we will create a corresponding offer for you.
