The well-known Queensize Camper folding tap is now also available in the [Dark Edition] in a dark matte shade, matching the sinks.
The dark shade adds a nice accent to your camper, and the folding function allows you to extend your workspace when the tap is folded into the sink and covered.
The tap has a detent at every 45°, and the spout can rotate freely by 360°.

Water Control

The tap is equipped with a push-button mixing cartridge that mixes the water temperature (adjustable via the rotary handle) and opens/closes the flow with a press on the front.
Additionally, a start/stop aerator is mounted on the spout, which stops or restarts the water with a light press on the small "pin" (e.g., with the back of your hand). This allows for clever water saving.
If you also want to reduce the flow rate, we offer the optional volume aerator, which not only controls the water jet volume between 20 and 100 percent but is also equipped with a ball joint and even has a 2-jet nozzle! You simply replace the start/stop aerator with this one.

Connection

With the included flexible hoses, you integrate the tap into your pressurized water system (recommended minimum pressure 1 bar, max. 4 bar). The hose has the standard M10x1 threaded connection on the tap side and a 10mm hose barb on the other side. A check valve is located directly underneath this (but you can also remove it).
Important note regarding frost: To prevent frost damage, the spout must be completely emptied during the cold season.
1. Open the cartridge and set it to the middle position.
2. Open the start/stop aerator and place the spout in the sink so that all water can drain out of the spout (it's best to even unscrew the aerator).
3. Blow air through the water lines from the pump side.

Color Shade

The [Dark Edition] has a matte finish that is very close to RAL 7020 "Umbra Grey". It is clearly not deep black.

Important note on coating: This is a stainless steel product that has been treated with a high-quality PVD coating to achieve its dark, matte color. We are confident that we can offer a very good product here.
BUT: A coating on stainless steel cannot withstand every mechanical stress. We have therefore installed a second O-ring on the spout, which protects the spout should it rest on the bottom of the sink. In contrast to the sink, the surface of the tap is smooth and not as scratch-resistant as the textured sink. You should be aware of this when purchasing this coated stainless steel product.
Therefore, our tip: Clean the tap with a soft cloth or sponge, not with the hard side of a household sponge or even with steel wool. Material: AISI 304 Stainless Steel
