Cavity Sealing – Professional Long-Term Corrosion Protection

This high-quality cavity sealant was developed specifically for demanding automotive applications and provides reliable, long-lasting protection against corrosion. As a powerful corrosion inhibitor, the spray is ideal for all preservation work where cavities need long-term protection – both in vehicle construction and other technical areas.

Especially in sensitive areas such as doors, sills, frame parts, or beams, the sealant unfolds its full strength. Particularly in recreational vehicles and vans, where significant condensation often forms due to temperature differences, the product ensures effective protection from the inside out. Moisture is reliably displaced, while existing rust is penetrated and isolated. This sustainably prevents the formation of rust and significantly extends the lifespan of the treated components.

The special, wax-like formula is characterized by excellent creep capability. Even the smallest gaps and hard-to-reach spaces are reached and permanently sealed. At the same time, the protective layer remains flexible and elastic, so it does not crack even with strong temperature fluctuations or material movements. In combination with the high adhesion and very good resistance to saltwater, a reliable protective film is created that remains durable even under demanding conditions.

Application

• Bring can to room temperature before use
• Shake vigorously for at least 2 minutes (after audible click of the mixing ball)
• Apply in several thin coats
• Spray cavities such as sills or beams completely with a probe
• Surface must be dry, dust-free, and grease-free
• Ideal application temperature: 15 – 25 °C
• Do not spray on rubber surfaces
• For existing rust: remove rust and pre-treat with rust converter
• Retreatment in vehicle areas recommended every 2–3 years
• Residues can be cleaned with a suitable special cleaner

Technical Details

The cavity sealant is based on a waxy formulation and is transparent to slightly yellowish. It offers high temperature resistance of up to approximately 180 °C and has a shelf life of up to 24 months when stored correctly (cool and frost-free between +5 and +30 °C).
