Do you have petrol in your blood, a passion for tinkering, and a desire for more than just the typical service routine? Then swap standard inspections for creative van projects!

At Moby Van Workshop in Grabau (near Bad Oldesloe), we are a family-like team on a growth trajectory. For our individual camper conversions, we are looking for you, starting immediately and in full-time: a skilled professional from the automotive or bodywork sector who is enthusiastic about recreational vehicles.

Your responsibilities: No two projects are alike

We don't have an assembly line. Every van is unique with its own specifications. You will apply your manual expertise here:

• Chassis & Technology: Adjustment and optimization of chassis, lift kits, and vehicle-specific modifications.
• Onboard Electrics & Water: Installation of 12V/230V systems, solar panels, auxiliary batteries, auxiliary heaters, as well as fresh and wastewater systems.
• Interior & Bodywork: Professional installation of furniture modules, windows, roof hatches, and bodywork for the perfect conversion.

What you bring:

• Solid Foundation: A completed vocational training as a car mechatronics technician, car mechanic, bodywork specialist (m/f/d), or in a closely related profession.
• Passion: You are genuinely enthusiastic about working on recreational vehicles and think in terms of solutions when facing problems.
• Bonus Points: Any additional professional qualification (e.g., high-voltage, AC certification, welding, or G607 gas inspection) is a great advantage but not a mandatory requirement.
• Team Spirit: You are reliable, work independently, and fit into a small, collegial team.

• Operating the CNC milling machine
• Finishing milled components

• Installing fixtures and water packages

Your Profile

• Trained cabinetmaker, carpenter (m/f/d)
  or comparable vocational training in skilled trades
• Experience with CAD/CAM and CNC milling (would be a plus)
• you work resource-efficiently,
