Tailgate / Barn Door Trim for VW T5, T6 and T6.1 incl. Storage Compartments for 2 Front Runner Expander Chairs

To make optimal use of every inch of storage space, we have developed a stylish tailgate trim for VW T5-T6.1, including a chair garage, in which two camping chairs, e.g. of the Expander type from our partner Front Runner, can be optimally stowed.
This gives the chairs a fixed and secure place that would otherwise be unused and creates more space in the trunk for other camping utensils or similar.

With our "Chair Garage" tailgate trim, you can create storage space in your VW T5-T6.1 for 2 camping chairs and also enhance the interior of your Transporter.

• as a 2-piece set for barn doors or the tailgate
• ready for installation and assembled
• in the wood and felt color that matches your conversion.

The chair garage is designed for installation in T5, T6 and T6.1 Transporter panel vans or combi vans. For Caravelle and Multivan, the trim fits if the tailgate only has a standard trim at the bottom. For vehicles with high tailgate trim (Multivan, California), our trim does not fit.

The Front Runner Expander chairs are not included, but are available separately in our store.

For the tailgate, we recommend retrofitting reinforced gas struts so that the tailgate can be opened easily. Also available from us, please contact us for more information.

The version for barn doors is a set consisting of two individual trims with holders for both doors. Whether you have barn doors or a tailgate, you only need to order this item once.

Please note:

The "Chair Garage" is not compatible with our Rock and Roll bed system for short wheelbases (KR/L1)!
